Indamixx Laptop is the first pre-configured music netbook, running linux for USD$499. Not too shabby for those that don't want to spend heaps on their road machine.

It includes support for ALSA, JACK, LADSPA and native Linux VST. I've been using renoise on my mac for the last few months and have found it fun and easy to use. So if you're a Linux user or Linux DAW person you should definitely check this out.
