Peter Kirn over at Create Digital Music has an article about a new Linux based laptop that comes pre-loaded with a bunch of music based apps. Indamixx Laptop is the first pre-configured music netbook, running linux for USD$499. Not too shabby for those that don't want to spend heaps on their road machine.

The folks over at Machine Collective have announced their new public website which is currently still in beta. For those who don't know who these guys are they will be releasing modular midi interfaces that are small and functional. They will open their shop in September.

DJresource.eu have put together a video outlining some of the many features available on the new Pioneer CDJ-400. I like how they have actually gone through the features as opposed to just regurgitating the press release. I would have liked to have had someone actually speaking about the features as opposed to having a text overlay and a track on repeat.
