The guys over at Create Digital Music have an article about a DIY digital turntable made from a mouse. The project was created so users of the open source terminatorX scratch synth had a cheap interface. It's amazing some of the cool stuff people come up with.

MAKE Zine have a few photos and a video of a cool little MIDI controller that is controlled by your pulse. They have it hooked up to Ableton to demonstrate the unit, very cool.
