Peter Kirn over at Create Digital Music has got an article on Harmonix opening up the Rock Band network to create songs for the ever popular console games. It's not particularly EDM related, but the creation side is very cool. He also has a Q&A with them.
Create Digital Music, XLR8R & Pitchfork got together and have created and released a 13 track compilation "Music of our Future". They were also able to get the story behind how these track came about from the artists themselves. It's a great insight into the creation of music and the selection of all the music.
Michael Una over at Create Digital Music has got a piece discussing hacking, prototyping and the likes of the Bliptronic 5000, a $50 Tenori-on, monome hackable clone from Think Geek. After Peter Kim's article on the device itself there was a lot of questions about the hackability of this device and what the DIY crowd can do, the creator gets on board and outlines what can be done.
