Well didn√¢¬Ä¬ôt the central energy CD launch start off with a bang! First as per usual, we were graced with Syke and Tydi who absolutely smashed their performance as they do week in, week out. They played classic trance anthems such as √¢¬Ä¬úLift√¢¬Ä by Sean Tyas.
Then next up on the DJ decks was Archie, who played some really great fast trance. He used a very interesting technique tonight, that surely got the crowd going! I’m not sure if its his signature sound, but a little twiddling of the equaliser made sure his noises sounded like tiny little water droplets. The sound was something I’ve never quite heard before and I will say that it sounded absolutely awesome! This combined with a hard beat, it sounded quite unique!
Amber Savage was next to prove her title as √¢¬Ä¬úqueen of hard dance√¢¬Ä and she did so with 100%. There√¢¬Ä¬ôs something about a confident blonde female that gets the guys on the dance floor dancing harder than a weightlifter lifts weights!!! She was really great to watch, an inspiring DJ and certainly lifted the energy in the club for the night. Her really fast tracks and awesome mixing was enough to make me never want to leave!
But unfortunately I had to leave earlier than expected and didn’t get to watch the third musketeer start his set. Baby Gee is a regular on a Friday night but it would have been great to see him show us what his CD is made of. The central energy CD launch was a great night and I’m sure you keen hard dance fans will get a copy of it soon!
Look out for TyDi√¢¬Ä¬ôs √¢¬Ä¬úLate Night Edition√¢¬Ä 5 hour jam packed set next week on Friday the 11th. He is launching his new CD and I√¢¬Ä¬ôm more than sure he will have Brisbane wrapped around his little finger again for another fabulous set.
