Gartenlaube by Hannes Smith is a forthcoming release on Etoka Records with a variety to engage all left-field house enthusiasts.

I say left-field simply as it's not a straight house release as it contains elements of electronica, minimal, deep progressive and tech-house. Thankfully not all in the same track, simply in the variety of remixes.

The Original Mix could almost be considered chill-out if it weren't for the  fidget pieces creating a surprisingly full sound for such a minimal track.

I am guessing tONKPROJECT felt the same as way as he slows things down even further and creates a hazy sunday vibe while Venedikt Reyf's interpretation is a percussion heavy dive into the progressive house side.

The pick for me however is Fassbinder's vision that steps into the tech side of house. Samples are creatively worked and reworked into a casual grooving style while the warm bass wraps you up and makes you feel all cosy. A perfect accompaniment to the cold weather outside my studio.

Gartenlaube will be released on 2nd February.
