I know this news is a little late but I think its still worth being told. Our good friends The Flash Brothers had a chance to make history over new years eve by being the first ever international DJ act to spin in Kenya. They travelled to Mombassa in Kenya for a New Year celebration at Diani Beach.

The Forty Thieves Beach Bar NYE party had 2 arena's supporting 2 very different styles of music. The Flamboyant arena catered for house, progressive, electro, minimal, trance. While the Beach Bar had Rock, 60-90's, Reggae and RnB. This would have been a nice contrast of music and fun to be had. The Flamboyant Arena line up included Mikhail Kuzi, The Flash Brothers, Drazen and Barney Barrow.

With roughly 2500 people there to help bring in the new year the show has been regarded as one of the best dance events Kenya has seen. It's great to see new places embracing Dance music and I can't wait to see what else Kenya can support. This untapped location will definitely be one to look out for.
