I remember when I first heard the original track play on I think it was Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance and just had to have this record. I had to wait almost a month before it was available on vinyl over here in Australia but once I got it, I played it till there was visible wear on the record. 

Now Jose Amnesia has decided to put his 2 cents in the mix with a fresh rework that brings things up to speed with today's club fanatics. I haven't gotten a copy of this release so I can only tell you that based on the samples I've heard I want this just as much as the original.

Karen Overton’s remake of the Billie Ray Martin classic Your Loving Arms certainly did some dance floor damage when it was released a few years back, with the likes of Deep Dish, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto and Tom Novy all putting this record firmly in their boxes. With the track still proving a popular hit in his sets today, Rob Aker AKA Jose Amnesia decided it was time for a re-work, making Your Loving Arms bang up to date for the club masses once again.  

Having already had huge hits over the last ten years with Last Sunset in Ibiza and anthemic The Eternal, Jose Amnesia has also had many successful collaborations with production partner Dino Lenny under the guise Jamnesia, collaborating with Stuart Matheson for project titled Cloudbreak and also paired up with Serp for the huge Second Day that was signed to Vandit. Now releasing Your Loving Arms with leading UK label Maelstrom, the result is one monster package that includes four mixes to quench your peaktime action thirst! 

The Radio Edit and Vocal Mix is an irresistible electro–minimal groover that compliments Karen’s ambient, sultry vocals. The JA 2008 Edit takes on a darker vibe with atmospheric synths, clicks and build-ups that gives the track a whole different meaning and sound. The package is rounded off with Your Dubbin Arms, a stripped back version sans vocals for those who just want the bleeps, bass and drums for full affect.
