British DJ Grooverider flew back to the UK after being released from prison in Dubai earlier this week. The junglist hero often credited as one of the forefarthers of Drum N Bass was pardoned by the Royal Family and released after serving only 10 months of his 4 year sentence for possession of cannabis.

Arrested on the 23rd of November 2007 with 2.16 grams of cannabis in his possession, Grooverider was sentenced to 4 years in prison in February of this year. The Radio 1 DJ is back home and hopefully we'll hear an official statement from him regarding this soon. By the looks of it he's already got back to work with bookings listed on his myspace page for November.
