Spacedafunk - Mu1 Scorpii

1st May, 2008

Written by: Digitalchild ( dc).

Brazilian label Muzenga Records have dispatched their latest release 'Mu1 Scorpii' from Spacedafunk a new collaboration between FernandinhozZz and Cassio Umek. This punchy progressive house track has a simplistic feel to it that has really grown on me since first receiving it. The simple and soothing bass line is accompanied by some easy to follow pads. There is a whipping like sound in the track that helps add some vibrance to the overall sound.

I opened my set with this track last week on DanceNode Radio and got some great responses. At around 126 bpm the track meanders along nicely giving it that opening track or early set kind of vibe. This track will be out on the Brazilian Muzenga Records soon at all good digital download stores.
