Christoper Lawrence Launches Radio Show

14th April, 2008

Written by: Digitalchild ( dchild).

Christopher Lawrence has just launched a new monthly radio show 'Rush Hour' on Digitally Imported the worlds #1 dance music radio station. It will also be broadcast on 'The System', WorldSpace International Satellite Radio with audiences in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with plans to expand to Europe in the second half of 2008. On top of this the show will be syndicated over FM worldwide.

'Rush Hour' will feature some of the best underground trance, progressive, psy trance and techno from around the world. Each episode will also include a guest mix from a selection of undiscovered talents as well as some of the bigger names in the industry.

It will be interesting to see how the format of this show unfolds and what will set it apart from all the other big name DJ's as he joins such names as Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond and Markus Schulz  on Digitally Imported's Trance Channel.  After spending over 10 years touring and building his career, launching a radio show will give him a great platform to reach a larger fan base and allow those that can't make his shows get to hear the Christopher Lawrence sound. I do hope that he also provides a podcast or some other kind of download that is convenient as many DJ's and record labels are starting to move towards the podcast delivery method that includes enhanced options such as track listings and album art.

'Rush Hour' airs on Digitally Imported's Trance station on the second Tuesday of each month at 4PM US Eastern / 9PM UK / 22:00 CET. The show will air directly after label mate John '00' Flemming's 'Global Trance Grooves' show. The first episode broadcast on the 8th of April and was a great episode, don't forget the next one by storing it in your calendar for some good study or working tunes.
