For those of you who don't know, Lisa Lashes is known as the Queen of Hard Dance to thousands of fans across the globe. 

Her career began when she was discovered back in 1998 when she performed at Sundissentials on the River Severen, UK.

Since then her career has taken off and in 2003 she  launched her famous Lashed parties in Ibiza

Back in January of this year, Lisa went in for routine surgery and was expected to be back on tour shortly after.  Unfortunately this wasn't the case as she developed a severe infection that has caused her to cancel her gigs for the next 4 weeks.  

Here is Lisa's full statement:

To all my fans,

At the start of January I underwent a planned, routine operation. Based upon medical advice, it was expected and hoped that I would have been able to return to the decks from the start of February.

Unfortunately, during the post-op recovery phase I developed a severe infection, which resulted in me being rushed to the hospital's A&E department in the early hours of Thursday night (31 January).

As a result of this and further professional medical advice, it is with deep regret that I am having to suspend all gigs until the start of March.

I am hopeful and confident that with the extra recovery period these cancellations bring, it will enable me to give 100% the next time I play at the Hard Dance Awards - Sheffield (29 February 2008).

I have not taken this decision lightly and I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those fans who have been left disappointed. Rest assured, I will be back!
