We have just finished putting the touches on a whole range of new features to make finding the information you're after even easier. Here's a quick overview:

Layout Changes

As you may have noticed we changed the home page layout slightly giving you more relevant information that's easier to read.  The news and radio episode pages have also been updated to make it easier to find new music, and to read the tracklists.

Search

We have implemented a simple yet powerful search facility to find news, tidbits and radio episodes. You can now search on a song name and find the DanceNode Radio episode it was played in.

We have also included OpenSearch. If you have Firefox installed look for 'Add DanceNode' in the drop-down menu of your built-in search box. This allows you to search DanceNode quickly no matter which website you're on. Check your browser to see if it supports OpenSearch.

New RSS Feeds

There are now three RSS feeds you can subscribe to. Our main feed now includes tidbits as well as news giving you more tasty morsels delivered straight to your inbox. You can also subscribe to a news only , or tidbits only feed. Use the links provided or look for the RSS icon in your URL bar (not supported by all browsers).

Community Forums

The first version of our community forums are now online. These are still under development and so not every feature is enabled quite yet but please jump in and start chatting.

Our forums are unique in several ways, the most important being that any comments on an item within the main website, will also appear in the forum and vice versa. This is so you can decide how you want to interact.

Along with this you can now upload your mugshot which will be displayed next to your comments for greater personalisation. Upload your picture via 'MyNode '. Currently we are testing MSN IM integration so be  sure to enter your MSN login email while you there to be ready when we launch the new feature.

Accessibility

We've also increased the accessibility of the website by providing keyboard shortcuts to the main menu items. Check your browser on how to use them (in Firefox hold down Ctrl and press the corresponding key).
