Judge Jules is without doubt is a force to be reckoned with. His stage presence, forged in Ibiza, is simply unbeatable and the same can be said about his new track 'Without Love' lifted from his debut album 'Proven Worldwide'.

The driving beat and hi-hat combo are standard fare but as the track progresses the complexity builds and builds, each time taking it to a new level. Jules’ ‘better half’ Amanda O’Riordan provides the vocals and gives the track a great sense of urgency. The lyrics have been given a good deal of thought creating an engaging story missing from a lot of vocal trance.

The Benson 'n' Hedges remix is a more electro house take on the track but even though it isn't too different from the original it takes away a lof of the energy that makes the original great. The Signalrunners remix on the other hand is very worthy. While it too takes away some of the driving feel of the original it replaces it with an extended journey that would get any dance floor moving. The dub versions of the track are not noticably different from their respective vocal versions and add a certain flexibility in set placement but for me, the vocal versions are much better.

Original versions to be released on Maelstrom real soon followed by Signalrunners and Benson 'n' Hedges remixes at a later date.
